William Fox, M.D.

Dr. Fox is the co-founder of Texas Endovascular and Houston Fibroids and is the medical director of our central Houston office. He is board certified by the American College of Radiology and a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, Society of Pediatric Interventional Radiology, the American Venous Forum, the Radiology Society of North America, the Harris County Medical Society, CLI Global Society, and the Texas Medical Association.
He is also a charter member of the Outpatient Endovascular and Interventional Society.
A native Houstonian, Dr. Fox graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, where he completed his B.A. in English literature with a minor in business foundations. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch, where he met and married his beautiful wife of 15 years, Lindsay. After graduation, the couple relocated to Richmond, Virginia; where Dr. Fox completed his internship, residency, and fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at the prestigious Medical College of Virginia.
Upon completion of his training, Dr. Fox was invited to join the faculty at the Medical College of Virginia as an assistant professor and director of resident and fellow education in the department of vascular and interventional radiology. During his tenure, Dr. Fox completed thousands of endovascular procedures with a concentration on advanced techniques in the treatment of arterial disease, uterine fibroid embolization, and venous insufficiency. He also cared for patients at VCU Vein Care, and served as one of the founding members of the Baird Vascular Institute.
Dr Fox’s passions extend beyond caring for his patients to educating physicians and other health care providers about vascular and venous disease. He has authored numerous publications and has lectured across the country and internationally on advanced endovascular and minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of complex vascular disorders.
In his free time, Dr. Fox enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, fishing, cooking, working on classic cars, and cheering for his favorite sports teams, the UT Longhorns, the Texans, and Astros.
