Meet William Fox, M.D.: Board-certified interventional radiologist in Texas
Transforming health across Houston—One patient at a time
Dr. William C. Fox is a board-certified vascular and interventional specialist, co-founder of Texas Endovascular, and Medical Director of its Central Houston clinic.
With over 25 years of experience in medicine and more than a decade of leadership at one of the most advanced outpatient practices in Texas, Dr. Fox is recognized as a pioneer in minimally invasive care.
A native Houstonian, Dr. Fox combines deep local roots with world-class training and a clear mission: to give patients access to effective, non-surgical treatments that restore comfort, function, and quality of life.
Known for his approachable, patient-first philosophy, he builds trust through education, conversation, and compassionate care that extends beyond the exam room.
Complete, minimally invasive care in the heart of Houston
Dr. Fox primarily sees patients at Texas Endovascular’s Central Houston clinic, located at:
4747 Bellaire Boulevard, Suite 550
Houston, TX 77401
He also rotates through additional Texas Endovascular locations to ensure patients across Southeast Texas have access to the highest-quality vascular care.
Each visit is designed to be efficient, informative, and effective, with procedures performed right in the office.
Services include:
- Radiofrequency Vein Ablation: Uses gentle heat energy to close diseased veins, rerouting blood flow to healthy veins and relieving pain, swelling, and heaviness in the legs.
- Endovenous Laser Therapy (EVLT): A laser-based treatment that seals faulty veins through a small catheter, improving circulation and reducing visible varicose veins.
- Ultrasound-Guided Foam and Cosmetic Sclerotherapy: Involves injecting a safe medical solution or foam directly into small or medium-sized veins to close them and fade visible spider veins for clearer, healthier-looking legs.
- Ambulatory Phlebectomy: A micro-removal technique used to eliminate bulging surface veins through tiny skin punctures, offering immediate cosmetic and medical improvement with minimal downtime.
- Varicocele Embolization: A targeted, image-guided treatment that blocks abnormal veins in the scrotum to relieve pain, swelling, and improve fertility without surgery.
- Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE): A non-surgical alternative to hysterectomy that blocks blood flow to fibroids, shrinking them and relieving pelvic pain, heavy bleeding, and pressure.
- Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE): Reduces urinary symptoms caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) by decreasing blood flow to the prostate, improving comfort and function.
- Hemorrhoid Artery Embolization (HAE): A minimally invasive procedure that targets the arteries feeding internal hemorrhoids, reducing bleeding, swelling, and discomfort.
- Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE) for Knee Pain: Decreases inflammation and pain caused by osteoarthritis by blocking small arteries that contribute to chronic knee discomfort.
- Plantar Fasciitis Embolization (PFE): Reduces heel pain and inflammation by improving blood flow and targeting the small blood vessels that contribute to chronic plantar fasciitis.
- Transarterial Elbow Embolization (TAE) for Golfer’s and Tennis Elbow: Alleviates chronic elbow pain and inflammation by targeting abnormal blood vessels associated with tendon irritation.
- Frozen Shoulder Embolization: Restores shoulder mobility and comfort by reducing inflammation and improving blood flow to the affected tissues.
- Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) Treatment: Improves leg circulation through image-guided procedures such as angioplasty, atherectomy, and stenting to reduce pain and prevent complications.
- Spider and Varicose Vein Treatment: Combines minimally invasive techniques to eliminate visible veins, relieve discomfort, and restore healthy blood flow for smoother, more comfortable legs.
