what our providers share

The same standard of care,
whichever clinic you visit

One specialty, nine conditions

Every physician is fellowship-trained in interventional radiology and treats all nine conditions. The doctor who reviews your imaging performs your procedure.

Image-guided, not open surgery

Treatment happens through a tiny access point using real-time imaging, which means lower risk, less downtime and, for most patients, going home the same day.

A consultation, not a commitment

Your first visit is for answers: what is causing your symptoms and what your options are, including the ones we don't perform. You are never expected to decide that day.

where we practice

Care close to where you live

We see patients in Houston (Bellaire), Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Clear Lake / Webster, Dallas, Plano and Fort Worth. Every clinic offers the same procedures, the same equipment and the same standard of care. The difference is only how far you have to drive. Several of our physicians rotate between clinics, so our schedulers will confirm the location and day that works for you. Spanish-speaking appointments are available at every location. Se Habla Español.
Common questions

Questions patients ask about our providers

Are all Texas Endovascular physicians board-certified?

Yes. All of our physicians are board-certified and fellowship-trained in vascular and interventional radiology, and several are double board-certified in interventional and diagnostic radiology. Each one performs minimally invasive, image-guided procedures in our own outpatient clinics.

Which doctor should I see for my condition?

Our physicians all treat the same core conditions; vein disease, peripheral artery disease (PAD), uterine fibroids, enlarged prostate (BPH), hemorrhoids and chronic joint pain, so most patients simply see the specialist at the clinic closest to them.

If your case is complex, our team will match you with the physician whose focus fits it best. Call us and describe your symptoms; we will tell you who to see and why.

Will I see a doctor or a physician assistant?

Both. A physician assistant or nurse practitioner often handles your first evaluation, your ultrasound and your follow-up visits, working directly with your physician. Your procedure itself is always performed by a board-certified interventional radiologist.

Do I need a referral to see one of your providers?

A referral is not required for most patients. Some insurance plans do require a referral or prior authorization before your visit, and our team can verify your benefits and explain what your plan needs. Texas Endovascular accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicare.

Can I request a specific doctor when I book?

Yes. Use the Request an Appointment form and name that physician, or call the clinic directly. Several of our physicians rotate between clinics, so our schedulers will confirm the location and day that works for both of you.

Do any of your providers speak Spanish?

Yes. Dr. AJ Valenson is fluent in Spanish and sees Spanish-speaking patients directly. Spanish-speaking team members are also available at our clinics. Ask for a Spanish-speaking provider when you call, or note it on the appointment form. Se Habla Español.

What happens at my first visit?

Your first visit is an evaluation, not a procedure. A provider reviews your symptoms and history, performs an ultrasound or other imaging if it is needed, explains what is causing the problem and walks through your options, including the ones we do not perform. Our team verifies your insurance benefits before anything is scheduled, and you are never expected to decide that day.

What is an interventional radiologist?

An interventional radiologist is a physician who specializes in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. Using real-time imaging, they guide small instruments through a tiny access point to diagnose or treat a condition, often as an alternative to traditional surgery, with smaller incisions and less disruption to the body.
