Dr. Armstrong completed his medical training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and subsequently completed his internship and residency in Radiology at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. 

He went on to complete his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, one of the world’s leading cancer treatment centers in the country.
