Originally from California, Jessica came to Texas to make a career change and now is a Sonographer with over 3 years experience in General, OBGYN, and Vascular Sonography. She graduated from the Academy of Healthcare with a degree in applied sciences and soon after became board certified with ARDMS and ARRT. She spent the majority of the last three years working for Houston Methodist hospital before deciding she wanted to focus on her real passion, Vascular Sonography. In her free time she loves to work on her farm with her husband and son caring for their dogs, goats, and chickens. She also loves to fish and cook as often as possible!
Susan Boehnke, FNP-C, is one of the newer additions to Texas Endovascular Association and she is super excited to be here. She comes with over 15 years of working experience in the healthcare industry, including cardiac ICU and gastrointestinal/endovascular unit. In her free time, Susan likes to work on her fish tank and watch Netflix with with her German Shorthaired Pointer, Kaiser. She also volunteers with the Texas German Shorthaired Pointer Organization of Texas.
Sylvia is a Katy native for over 20 years and joined us in 2016 as medical assistant. She loves interacting with her patients and is passionate about treating every patient with care. She is a great listener and loves to help! Sylvia has a sweet 4 year old daughter named Jacqueline and a silly chihuahua named Twinky. She is currently attending school to further her career in the medical field and hopes to become an RN one day.
In her free time she enjoys running, shopping with her daughter and relaxing while watching a great movie.
Julia is our newest edition to the Katy office. She has been in Ultrasound as a Registered Vascular Technologist since 2009. She loves her new job figuring out why your legs hurt and being on the front line of treatment. She has a positive attitude and always wears a smile!
Even thought Julia is a transplant form Massachusetts, she has lived in Houston for the past 20 years. In her free time, Julia enjoy’s spending time with her family and traveling.
Jamie Kay, is our medical assistant at the Bellaire office who has worked with Dr. Fox for three years.
When Jamie isn’t working hard, she is filling the office with laughter. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys skiing, spending time with her dog Honey and golfing. Jamie’s career aspirations are to become a Registered Nurse.
Jackie, front office coordinator, has worked with Dr. Fox for over three years. Jackie is an outstanding ambassador, making our TEA patients feel welcomed and comfortable the moment they step into our Bellaire office.
Aside from keeping the Bellaire office running smoothly, Jackie enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She loves planning parties, going to the gym, FaceTiming her nephews who live in New Mexico, and spending time with her “fur baby”, Marley.
Joy, our physician liaison and patient coordinator, is a graduate of the University of Houston Bauer College of Business. She works diligently to keep us connected with our referring physicians and our patients.
Outside of work, Joy’s latest passion is being a new mom to her precious baby girl. She also loves antique shopping, crafts, traveling and golfing. Aside from being a mom to Baby Kai, Joy keeps tabs on her four-legged “kids” – Ollie and Atlas. She loves being the office cat lady almost as much as she loves being a mom.
Sindy, the front office coordinator, also known as The Katy Hostess with the Mostest, has been working with Dr. Hardee for over three years.
Sindy has an “alter ego” as the office clown (usually at Erik’s expense). When she’s not at the office, Sindy enjoys spending quality time with her family, walking her dogs, sporting events, and teaching Erik Spanish.
Lisa, our esteemed nurse, is a graduate of Texas A&M University. After completing her Bachelor of Science in Community Health at A&M, Lisa was called by the universe (or her brother, who gives good advice) into becoming a nurse.
Lisa’s favorite pastimes include: CrossFit training, spending time outdoors, making memories with her family, and traveling with her husband Brian. Together they parent their Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Anderson James. Andy is their only fur baby – and “King of the House”. Lisa is always ready to show you hundreds of pictures of Andy at any time.
Erik Frazar, our beloved and esteemed practice manager, has over 10 years’ experience in health care, which is clearly reflected on his personal connection with our patients. In addition, he plays furniture mover and handyman to make sure our facility is always “client ready”.
Outside of the office, Erik enjoys just about every extracurricular outdoor hobby possible – and he has the gear to prove it! His favorites include: his weekly bowling league, fishing, snow skiing, and mountain biking. He shares all these activities with the love of his life, a 12-year-old Weimaraner named Blue.
Tammy, graduated from Ultrasound Diagnostic School (Dallas) in 2000. Most of her ultrasound experience has been with accredited vascular labs in hospital settings. Tammy left the hospital environment in 2012 and has since been doing detailed reflux studies with Dr. Fox and Dr. Hardee. Although Tammy is from Dallas, her husband is originally from Houston. Shortly after their marriage, Tammy and her hubby moved to Houston to raise their family. They are blessed with three beautiful daughters. Tammy spends her free time attending one of the girls’ many activities. She loves running and reading.
